Yes. Majestic Maine Coon Cats is a registered Maine Coon cattery and we follow ethical, responsible breeding practices with a focus on health, temperament, and type.

We are located in Canton, Georgia and work with families throughout Georgia and the United States.

For the safety and health of our kittens and adult cats, we do not allow in-home visits. We provide photos, videos, and updates so you can follow your kitten’s progress as they grow.

Yes. We are a dedicated Maine Coon cattery and all of our kittens are purebred Maine Coons from carefully selected lines.

Adoption process

Start by completing our online Kitten Application on our website. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you can reserve an available kitten or join our waiting list for upcoming litters.
After approval, a non-refundable reservation fee is required to hold your kitten. The reservation fee is applied toward the final adoption price and your kitten is marked as reserved on our website.
Kittens are typically evaluated for structure and personality before we confirm placements. We will guide you through the process and help match you with the best kitten for your home.
Yes. When no kittens are immediately available, approved families may join our waiting list for future litters. We contact waiting list families in the order they joined when new kittens are available.
Yes. Every kitten is placed under a written contract that outlines expectations, health coverage, and care requirements. You will receive a copy for your records.

No. Reservation fees are non-refundable, as we take that kitten off the market and hold it specifically for you. The reservation fee is applied toward the total adoption price.

We accept commonly used methods such as cash, certified check, and select electronic payments. Details are provided in the adoption contract and on our Adoption Process page.

Final payment is typically due before or at the time of pickup, according to the terms in your contract.

Health & veterinary care

Yes. Our breeding cats are health tested for important genetic conditions common to the Maine Coon breed. Only sound, healthy cats are used in our program.

Kittens receive age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations and are dewormed on a schedule recommended by our veterinarian.

Yes. Kittens are placed as pet-only and go home spayed or neutered in accordance with our contract and veterinary guidance.

At this time, we do not routinely microchip kittens. If microchipping is added in the future, it will be clearly stated in the adoption details.

Yes. Kittens go home with a written health guarantee and a vet-issued health letter documenting their exam and condition at the time of sale.

Transportation & pickup

Delivery options may be available depending on distance and schedule. Local pickup is preferred, but we can discuss transportation options when you are approved.
No. We do not ship kittens as cargo under any circumstances. All transportation must be done in a safe and humane way.
We recommend bringing a secure carrier, a soft blanket or towel, and any remaining payments required at pickup. Detailed pickup instructions will be provided before your kitten goes home.
In some cases, we can hold a kitten briefly past the ready date. Any extended holding must be arranged in advance and may include a daily boarding fee.

Maine Coon Care & Breed Questions

Maine Coons are a large breed and can continue to mature until approximately 3–4 years of age. Size varies by line, gender, and individual genetics.
No cat is completely hypoallergenic. Some people with mild allergies may tolerate Maine Coons better than other breeds, but individual reactions vary.
Yes. Maine Coons do shed, especially seasonally. Regular brushing helps manage shedding and prevent tangles.
We recommend brushing several times a week to keep the coat healthy and free of mats. Pay special attention to the ruff, armpits, and back legs.
Maine Coons are typically gentle, social, and patient. With proper introductions, they usually do very well with respectful children and friendly pets.
We strongly recommend that Maine Coons be kept as indoor-only pets or allowed outside only in a safe, enclosed space or on a harness and leash. This protects them from cars, predators, disease, and theft.
