MAJESTIC MAINE COON CATS
KITTEN SALES CONTRACT

1. Reservation Fee ($350, non-refundable)
A non-refundable $350 reservation fee is required to reserve a kitten and remove that kitten from availability. This fee is applied toward the total purchase price. If the Buyer later cancels the purchase for any reason, the reservation fee is forfeited. If the Seller cancels, any payments made by the Buyer are fully refunded.

2. Approval & Pick Order
Once your application is approved and the $350 reservation fee is received, your pick order is secured for the selected kitten or upcoming litter. This fee is non-refundable if the Buyer cancels.

3. Pet-Only Unless Approved for Breeding
All kittens are sold as pets only unless breeding rights are expressly approved in writing, an additional breeding fee is paid, and a separate breeding contract is signed.

4. Mandatory Veterinary Examination (within 48 hours)
Buyer must take the kitten to a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of pickup. Failure to do so voids the health guarantee. Minor transition issues are not grounds for refund or replacement.

5. Spay/Neuter Requirement (by 6 months)
Buyer agrees the kitten will be spayed/neutered no later than 6 months of age. Proof must be provided. Failure to comply is a breach of contract.

6. Indoor-Only Requirement
The kitten will live strictly indoors. Outdoor access is only allowed in a secure, fully enclosed catio or with a harness under direct supervision. Unsupervised outdoor access voids the guarantee.

7. Pickup Window & Boarding Fees
Pickup is in Canton, GA. Buyer must pick up within 7 days of the agreed release date. After 7 days, a $20/day boarding fee applies. After 14 days with no pickup, Seller may cancel and relist the kitten; all Buyer payments are forfeited.

8. Payments & Accepted Methods
Buyer must pay the remaining balance before or at pickup. Seller does not accept credit cards. Approved payments include cash or approved electronic transfer.

9. No Refunds if Buyer Changes Mind
All payments made toward the kitten — including the reservation fee and any additional payments — are non-refundable if the Buyer changes their mind for any reason.

10. Genetic Health Guarantee (1 year)
Seller provides a 1-year genetic health guarantee for severe hereditary defects such as HCM or severe hip dysplasia. Conditions caused by injury, neglect, stress, or buyer actions are excluded.

11. Unfit-for-Sale Clause (72 hours)
If within 72 hours a licensed veterinarian deems the kitten unfit for sale due to a condition present at pickup, Buyer must provide documentation. Seller may request a second opinion. If confirmed, Seller may offer a replacement kitten from a comparable future litter.

12. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyer agrees to provide high-quality food, fresh water, a clean litter box, safe indoor housing, enrichment, and veterinary care. Buyer agrees never to declaw. Declawing voids the contract.

13. No Rehoming or Surrender
Buyer may not sell, rehome, give away, or surrender the cat to any shelter or rescue. If Buyer cannot keep the cat, Seller must be contacted first. Refunds are not guaranteed.

14. Breeder Right to Cancel
Seller may cancel before pickup if the home is not a suitable fit or circumstances change affecting the kitten’s wellbeing. If Seller cancels, all Buyer payments are refunded in full.

15. What’s Included
• Age-appropriate vaccines
• Deworming
• Written health record
• One free month of Trupanion insurance (buyer must activate)
• Ongoing breeder support. No microchip is provided.

16. Weekly Photos
Seller provides weekly photos or videos when possible until pickup.

17. Entire Agreement
This contract is the full agreement. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
